Erica Gilbert is the owner/director of Stages Dance Academy in Laconia, NH since 2010. She is a graduate of Plymouth State University with a B.S in Health Education and Dance and completed the Dance Pedagogy program at PSU. Erica is a former member of PSU's Contemporary Dance Ensemble, the PSU Dance Team, and danced professionally with the Manchester Wolves "Lady Wolf Pack". She has studied with the Dance Teachers Club of Boston and interned at the famous Broadway Dance Center in New York City. Erica and her local celebrity dance partners were numerous winners of Laconia/Lake's Region's own "Dancing with the Community Stars". She has performed in many productions of the "Children’s Nutcracker” as the ‘Sugar Plum Fairy’ and has also danced and choreographed routines for youth dancers at several Boston Celtics games, Fisher Cats games, and most recently Walt Disney World! She stays current with the trends in dance by continuously attending master classes and workshops and has most recently attended Rhee Gold's "Dance Life Convention" this summer and has completed a certification in "Acrobatic Arts". Erica is also certified in "Zumba", "Zumba Toning", &" Zumba Kids", as well as a Barre certification from "Balanced Body Barre". She has over 19 years of teaching experience. Erica's goal is pass along her love for the art of dance to her students and help them reach their full potential!
Maya Infascelli is a graduate of Plymouth State University, where she got her degree in Ethnochoreographic Studio Management, which combined dance, business, and anthropology. Starting at the age of 3 years old, she studied dance for 16 years at the Ninth State Dance Studio, where she trained in ballet, pointe, modern, and jazz. She has had the opportunity to take master classes offered at Summer Stages Dance at Concord Academy and Broadway Dance Center in New York City and work with Pantos Project, BoSoma Dance Company, and Lorraine Chapman: The Company. She worked as an office assistant for the Music Theater and Dance Department and as the Events and Studio coordinator for the Dance Department during her time at Plymouth State University. She has performed and choreographed solos and group pieces for many different performances, including recitals and showcases, multiple Nutcrackers, Peter and the Wolf, and a variety of community events such as the Voices Against Violence's Dancing with the Community Stars and ETC and TIGERS Raise the Curtain fundraiser. Maya loves sharing her passion for dance and looks forward to continuing her dance career at Stages Dance Academy.
Attorney by day and dance teacher by night! Amanda Noel is a 2015 graduate of the University of New Hampshire with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a minor in Sociology, Justice Studies, and American Studies. She also graduated from UNH Law School with her Juris Doctor and passed the Bar Exam in 2018. During her time at UNH, she was a member and choreographer of the "Step" and "Hip Hop" Dance Team called "Sisters in Step". Amanda grew up in the Lakes Region and attended Meredith Bay Dance Academy, under the direction of Meagan Hiltz, for 9 years. She also began her teaching years under Meagan Hiltz at the Mill No. 3 in Ashland, NH and has been teaching dance ever since. Amanda's classes are always fun and energetic and her positive vibes are inspiring to her dance students! She is excited for another year with the Stages Dancers!
Kendra Fox is a Stages Dance Alumna and a graduate from Plymouth State University. She holds a degree in Early Childhood Studies, a minor in Dance, and a Dance Pedagogy Certificate. During her time at PSU, Kendra served as Vice President and President of the PSU Dance Team. Aside from choreographing for a variety of Dance Team events, Kendra has also had work showcased at the Plymouth State University Dance Premiere and Gala. She regularly performed in both faculty and student works in the Dance Division’s Contemporary Dance Ensemble performances each semester, including performing in a guest artist piece with Lorraine Chapman. Kendra has had the opportunity to perform and showcase work far and wide in Shaker Village’s summer events in Canterbury, New Hampshire, at Boston University for the American College Dance Association’s New England conference, in the Lakes Region working with the New Hampshire Dance Movement and back to Plymouth where her choreography was selected to be performed at the University Showcase of Excellence.
Most recently Kendra has joined Alchemy Movement Company. As a member of Alchemy, Kendra has performed around New England, including the Boston Contemporary Dance Festival and in Hartford as part of The Dance Collective’s Winter Showcase. Kendra strives to ensure that each of her students are feeling challenged, supported, fulfilled and empowered from every class to every performance. Kendra has a passion for choreographing and teaching, and is excited to be back working with the Stages Dancers once again!
Elizabeth Foster is a graduate from Colby- Sawyer college where she graduated with a degree in Public Health and a minor in Child Development. While she attended the college, she served as the Vice President of the Dance Club for three years. Elizabeth choreographed dances that were performed at the Colby Sawyer College Dance shows. Originally from Rhode Island, Elizabeth danced for around fifteen years at Shannon O'Brien School of dance in Attleboro Massachusetts. Elizabeth looks forward to sharing her passion with young dancers and continuing her dance career at Stages Dance Academy!
